Located in rather lacklustre part of town and room was rather small. Rooms had good soundproofing.

Excellent and friendly staff, comfortable rooms with galconies to the rear. Convenient parking make this very convenient for an overnight stop. Air conditioning is the only missingitem for mid-summer comfort.

The room was super clean and had jaw-dropping amenities like TV, wi-fi, and a bath. The off-street parking was a mind-blowing plus for our large van. The hotel's value for money was outstanding, just a short 15-minute walk from the vibrant city center. The staff were incredibly friendly and helpful. You'll love the noise-free rooms with excellent facilities and comfy beds. The location is also great, with safe on-street parking available. Don't miss the brilliant Sunday market just a 2-minute walk away. Plus, there's a small balcony and an elevator.

It was good, friendly and near to the centre of Angouleme. The car parking was very useful.

On 02/02/11 I made two bookings for 07/04/11 & 26/07/11 - I paid for 07/04/11 night on 08/04/11 @ the hotel - I expected to pay for 26/07/11 night on 27/07/11 only to find that hotel had debited my card on 11/04/11 - I did not know about this until 28/07/11 and the credit card company are not impressed and I now have a late payment record on my credit account - I was out of uk from 07/04/11 until 27/07/11 - so did not pay the credit card company until 28/07/11! I cannot understand why the hotel was happy to wait until 08/04/11 for payment of first night but not wait for payment of second night.You say hotel 'may' debit card for payment - if they do an email should be sent to confirm this has happened.

The room is large enough for the number of people, the room was clean and the service was excellent. a very nice breakfast was served.
